At the age above 50 you are not going to have the amount of energy that you had during your 20s. It’s very normal for everyone to be slowing down as they grow old. With this there is need to restore vitality and energy after 50.
When I realized the presence of grey hair i thought of aging.

I realized that in order to have enough energy, my body needs to be on a constant metabolism. I hit the long distance walks that enable my breathing activated.

Getting enough sleep
At my 50s I realize that also insomnia was catching up with me. I could not get enough sleep at night. It is advisable of eight hours of sleep at night. So In order for me to get enough sleep at night I am avoiding daytime naps. When I don’t have naps I tend to have good sleeps at night.
This makes me energized for the next day. I have a routine time of going to bed that has enabled my body to get enough sleep.

I have realized that old age is not a ticket to have solution to all the challenges we face. At old age I still need others helps in managing my stress In order to boost my energy. Reduced anxiety is also a way that I increase my vitality and energy.
It was not an easy step to make. When I realized that am slowing down due to my smoking habit, I had no choice. Quitting smoking was one of the greatest milestones of regaining my energy. Increase water consumption
I have come to realize that old age also come with reduced feeling of thirst. Dehydration leads to fatigue. With this in mind I have increased the amount of fluids that I take. Energy production requires that our body remains hydrated for the better part of the day.
Continue with your social life
At my old age I still stay close to my family and friends. This enables me to prevent loneliness and stress. Stress and loneliness are challenges to the energy production that is required to keep me from being slow as I age. Being that my family is still in the city and I have retired.
I find it hard to remain in the house alone.
With this I have decided to meet new people by attending voluntary activities.
Get active mentally and have meaningful activities
A mental activity such as games or getting to learn something new is healthy. This is also rewarding since it boosts creation of mental energy, this energy is important for physical energy.
Ever since I retired, I have a lot of free time. This is the time I am using to enjoy me hobbies. This motivates and energizes me.
I am currently in my 50s this has made me focus most on my energy and vitality level. By using the above tips I am assured of the energy boost in my later life.
